Terms & Conditions

GENERAL

Minimum passenger numbers may apply. All reservations must be reconfirmed by 2.00pm the day prior. If weather conditions prevent us from flying, you may reschedule to the next available day, space permitting.

Flight durations are indicative. Flight time and flight paths are at the discretion of Southern Lakes Heliski, subject to safety, pick up locations and weather conditions.

PAYMENT

All prices are charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST of 15%. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Alipay. Payment by direct bank transfer in NZD can also be arranged.

Daily & Private Heliski Charters

Full payment is required at the time of booking for all daily shared and private charter products.

Multi-Day & Luxury Heliski Packages

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation for our Multi-Day and Luxury Heliski packages. The balance must be paid 30 days prior to the package commencing.

Credit

Credit is only available to approved trade partners by prior arrangement. Where credit terms have been agreed, all invoices to be paid by the 20th of the month following invoice. Cancellation fees, if any become the responsibility of the booking agent to collect.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel you will be charged a cancellation charge based on a percentage of the total price of the booking as set out below:

Daily & Private Heliski Charters

Cancellation advised before 2.00pm the day prior to heliski booking:              0% (no cancellation charge)

Cancellation made after 2.00pm the day prior to heliski booking:                     100%

‘No show’:                                                                                                                                                    100%

Multi-Day & Luxury Heliski Packages

Cancellation advised outside of 31 days prior to arrival:                                        0% (no cancellation charge)
Cancellation advised within 31 days or less prior to arrival:                                 100%

Refund Policy

Bookings cancelled by Southern Lakes Heliski due to inclement weather, that cannot be rescheduled, will be refunded provided that if some heli-skiing has been possible but less than the number of runs booked, then you will be refunded an amount equal to the lesser of the following amounts:

·        the price for that part of the package that has been cancelled; or

·        the aggregate of $100 per run not skied.

If you cancel in circumstances where you are entitled to a refund of your deposit, payment of any refund to a credit card will incur an administration charge of 3% of the refund amount which will be deducted from the payment.

All transactions are conducted in NZD. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, at times there may be some variance in the amounts refunded compared to the amount initially charged. No liability is accepted for these variances or any subsequent credit card/bank charges relating to these transfers.

It is recommended that you have comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect your travel plans.
